What it does

Browses your folders

The folder tree in your workspaces is the car library. Audio files show up as browsable lists on the car screen - there is no separate car setup and no playlist to rebuild. The app on your iPhone provides the list; CarPlay draws it.

Resumes where you stopped

Continue Listening and Recently Played sit at the top level of the browse screen. A file you paused on your phone resumes in the car from the same position, because both read the same playback history.

Plays on the system screen

Playback uses CarPlay's own Now Playing template. Scrubbing, skip, and steering-wheel controls work the way they do in every audio app your car already runs, because they are the same controls.

Takes voice requests

"Hey Siri, play The Long Way Home on dosya" starts playback without a glance at the screen. Search is voice-only by design: Apple's CarPlay audio entitlement does not include a typed-search screen, for any audio app.

How it connects

   Connect your iPhone

   Plug in, or connect wirelessly if your car supports it. The dosya icon appears on the car's home screen.

   Open dosya on the screen

   Your folders, Continue Listening, and Recently Played are the home screen. Nothing to configure first.

   Drive

   Playback runs from your iPhone. Control it from the dashboard, the steering wheel, or Siri.

An iPhone with iOS 16 or later and the dosya mobile app.

Any CarPlay-compatible vehicle or aftermarket head unit, wired or wireless - whichever your car supports.

Plays

The audio files in your dosya workspaces, streamed through your iPhone.

Search

By voice, through Siri. CarPlay's audio-app entitlement has no typed-search screen.
