How does the 14-day money-back guarantee work?
Ask within 14 days of any payment, monthly or yearly, renewals included, and we refund that payment in full. You don't need to give a reason. Email support@dosya.dev or use the contact form from your account's email address. Your account goes back to Free limits and nothing is deleted.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly?
Only the bill. Storage, apps and features are identical. Yearly is charged once and costs ten monthly payments for twelve months, so 1 TB is $199.90 a year instead of $239.88.
Can I change my size or switch to yearly later?
Yes, from Billing at any time. You see exactly what the change costs before you confirm it, and your files stay where they are.
Does the free plan need a credit card?
No. Free is 5 GB with no card, no expiry and no countdown. It isn't a trial that turns into a bill.
Does Free really include every feature?
Every app, protocol and sharing feature ships on Free, including the API, WebDAV, S3, the Vault and the full choice of 46 storage locations. What differs is fair use, history and team size, and every number is in the table above. Four things are contractual rather than technical and come with an Enterprise agreement instead of any plan: SSO and SAML, a signed Data Processing Agreement, a named account manager and private nodes. Hitting a fair-use limit pauses further requests until it resets; it never deletes anything.
Do you charge for downloads or bandwidth?
No. There are no egress fees on any plan, and no monthly transfer cap. Paid sizes are unmetered. Free has daily allowances rather than a bill: 10 GB a day across your share links and 5 GB a day per API or protocol credential. Reach one and downloads pause until it resets 24 hours later; a transfer already running always finishes.
Is there a price per user?
No. Every paid size includes unlimited members in every workspace, so adding a teammate never changes your bill. Free allows 5 members per workspace.
I need more than 2 TB. What are my options?
Stack storage add-ons onto any paid plan: +100 GB for $2 a month, +1 TB for $15 a month, or +5 TB for $60 a month, in any combination, changed from Billing whenever you like. That covers self-service up to roughly 77 TB. Past that, or if you need single sign-on, a signed GDPR Data Processing Agreement, a named account manager or private nodes, talk to us about Enterprise.
Can dosya see my files?
Everything is encrypted at rest. For files nobody else should be able to open, use the Vault: files are encrypted on your device before upload, and only your passphrase or recovery key unlocks them. We can't open them.
Is dosya GDPR compliant?
GDPR protections apply to everyone who uses dosya, on every plan, and any account can create a workspace in an EU location so its files are stored in the EU. Enterprise adds what a company's legal team asks for: a signed Data Processing Agreement and a direct line to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@dosya.dev.
Which apps and tools can I use?
The web app, desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux, and a command-line client. Anything that speaks S3, WebDAV, SFTP or rclone can connect too. iPhone and Android apps are coming soon.
What happens if dosya stops offering a plan I pay for?
You get at least 30 days' notice, as our Terms of Service require for withdrawing a plan or changing its price, and a pro-rated refund for the unused part of your billing period. Downloading everything costs nothing, so moving your files is never held hostage.
What currency are prices in, and is tax included?
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that applies where you are. Tax is calculated at checkout, and your card issuer may apply its own conversion rate.
Can I pay by invoice?
Yes, on Enterprise. Talk to us and we'll set up invoiced billing with a contract.
